A winter storm that affected the southern states of the US over the weekend and moved through the northeast, has left thousands of people without electricity and numerous canceled flights, in addition to at least two deaths.
The storm continued its advance to the north yesterday Monday and left intense snow in areas of the northeastern United States, the Central Appalachians and the lower part of the great lakes (Ontario, Huron and Erie).
The prediction of the US Weather Service indicates that the storm will move into the southeast from Canada on Tuesday.
As it passes through the south and northeast of the US, the meteorological phenomenon left thousands of people without electricity, and some 80, 000 they still didn’t get it back on Monday night, according to data from the website poweroutage.us.
