Microsoft does not recommend installing Windows 11 on devices that do not meet the minimum requirements. According to the company’s arguments, this installation “can cause compatibility problems” that result in poor performance of the equipment, inability to update in the future or possible damage not covered by the manufacturer. However, everything will depend on the decision of the user who must be aware of the risk before carrying out this process, which can be completed in various ways.
How to carry out the installation process?
If you have a device that does not meet the minimum requirements to install Windows 11 but you still decide to take the risk, there is a way considered the safest by the manufacturer:
one. Go to the start menu and click on “Settings”.
two. All the options to configure the equipment will open. Among them is the “Security Updates” option, click on it.
3. The system will take you to the Windows Update menu on your computer. Click on the “Check for updates” button.
If the system is ready to receive Windows 11, will be shown among the first options. In this way, it is verified that the computer is compatible with the new operating system. In case it does not appear, it will be necessary to use other ways such as the installation wizard or the creation of media for Windows, both tools are available on the software download page.
