Group Foo Fighters Releases Trailer For Horror Movie “STUDIO 666”

For several months Dave Grohl, singer and leader of Foo Fighters, reported that the rock band was working on what would be their first film, which was not would belong to the documentary genre, if not to the horror genre. The film is ready, under the title of “STUDIO 666” and the trailer of it has been successful on YouTube, well, days of its premiere has more than six million views.

In the movie, the members of Foo Fighters (Rami Jeffee , Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Grohl) play themselves themselves and arrive at a studio located in a Los Angeles mansion to record their album Medicine at midnight, but soon after they begin to suspect that the place they inhabit is haunted. At the same time the singer (who wrote the script together with Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes) begins to exhibit violent behavior.

“STUDIO 666” will be released in the United States on 25 February; in the main cast also stand out Will Forte, Whitney Cummings and Leslie Grossman. Commenting on the film, Grohl commented: “After decades of ridiculous music videos and documentaries, it’s finally time to take it to the next level. A horror and comedy feature film. Like most Foothings, this movie started with a crazy idea that was turned into something bigger than we ever imagined.”
