Similar to a new installment of the movie “Jumanji”, suddenly, the streets of the city of Chongzuó, in China, were flooded by dozens of ostriches who were running at full speed in front of the astonished gaze of drivers.
The moment was captured in a video that quickly became relevant in social networks, where you could see near 80 ostriches along the main streets of a city.
While the huge birds ran, dozens of passers-by panicked, due to the magnitude of these animals, for which the authorities had to attend to different people due to nervous breakdown.
In addition, with the help of the police, most ostriches were returned to their place of origin. No one was reported injured during the incident.
Zhong Jinghua, a local ostrich farmer who owns these specimens, said that the animals had escaped from the farm as an employee forgot to close the gate of the enclosure and activate the security devices.
It was mentioned that the Qinglong Road farm is specialized in breeding African ostriches, being those in charge of the place who notified the authorities in order to receive support in the capture.
Until now, it is unknown if the caretaker of these species received some kind of sanction or fine for his carelessness that frightened the city.
According to information from these birds, the ostrich can run speeds of up to 70 km/h, which is why it is considered the animal the fastest two-legged dog in the world.
The ostrich parade took place in the early hours of Saturday, January 8, ero, and this show in China was also recorded by citizens who noticed the event.
In less than two weeks, China experienced its second incident with ostriches, just on January 5, a specimen escaped and was seen running down a road in Tianjin, China. The bird fell off a truck while being transported between farms, but was eventually captured and returned to its owner unharmed.
