The Peruvian Juan Reynoso, coach of Cruz Azul

, asked for three reinforcements this Saturday so that your team does not finish the games “just” as in your 1-0 victory against Juárez on the second day of the Mexican Clausura.

“We finished fair. We need that center that is already spoken , someone on the outside and a striker to round out the squad and compete on both fronts”, he explained at a press conference after the victory that raised ‘La Maquina’ to second place in the Apertura standings.

Reynoso hopes that the signings he requires will arrive no later than mid-February so that their players do not have to play in positions that do not suit them.

Juan Reynoso on the subject of Pol Fernández. 🔥

“The theme is very simple. When one speaks things up front and we are gentlemen, I don’t see any chance that he will go to Boca. We would be disappointed if he leaves, we wait for Pol”. pic.twitter.com/a1WlKGfi6B

“Today the best thing was the win. Juárez made a great effort. Congratulations for what the boys did because several are playing not in their positions

natural, several recently recovered from Covid and injuries”, added the strategist of 22 years.

The champion coach in the Clausura 2021 acknowledged that his team needs to play a “more practical” soccer to close matches more calmly.

“Today Juárez with the heart pushed him to the end. The best thing we did was the backward effort, something we had missed the previous semester. I was telling the guys that we are going to close the games more calmly when we play more practical games. We are in the process of getting to know each other and us”, he expressed.

I liked it Said by Juan Reynoso: he was forceful with the Pol issue, sending a clear message, he was self-critical with what happened on the field, he acknowledged that reinforcements are urgent and I expressly speak of 3: a central player, someone on the outside and a forward. https://t.co/scNdZRNDWN

Juan Reynoso ruled out that the Argentine Guillermo ‘Pol’ Fernández, who traveled to his country to solve personal problems, can leave Cruz Azul to sign with Boca Juniors in the following days.

“I don’t see any possibility of go to Boca. He asked us for a favor on a personal matter, it was quite emotional and sincere, so we felt it and he was given the facility. We would be disappointed if he signed for Boca. We expect Pol next Monday, not this one. He will come as promised and will give himself to the maximum to reach the level that led us to the championship”, he concluded.
