The anti-COVID stance could be very expensive for the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic. After being deported and eliminated from the Australian Open, the number one in the world could stay without playing Wimbledon and US Open , the other greats of this tournament 2022 and among the so-called “Grand Slams”.

As in Australia, ‘Nole’ will be achieved with the fact that in the United States (US Open) and in the United Kingdom (Wimbledon) it is mandatory to have the complete vaccination schedule against the coronavirus to be able to enter.

In the USA there are also three of the nine Master 1. displayed on this year’s calendar: Indian Wells, Miami and Cincinnati.

The only option that the 24 tennis player has, if he wants to keep to be at the top of that sport, will be to apply the drug , something that is still unknown while he goes through the bad drink that meant being expelled like an unwanted from Australia after a long novel.

Djokovic will have no problems in playing Roland Garros in France. The competition is between the four ‘majors’. The French Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu, highlighted to the French media that the Serb can participate in the tournament:

“The protocol and the sanitary bubble of these major sporting events will allow it”.

Could Novak Djokovic see his dominance in tennis jeopardized? It seems that the decision is up to him. The antidotes against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus have advanced enough and face the new variants, lowering their intensity and lethality to people’s health.
