With only 24 years old, the Spanish soccer player could be a fundamental piece in Santiago Solari’s team. The central defender was trained in the lower ranks of Sporting de Gijón . Meré debuted with the Spanish team and played more than 60 matches before leaving for Germany.

His time in the Bundesliga with FC Köln is made up of 96 games played. However, this season has not been good for Meré, since the Spanish footballer has only played 9 games.
