Sneak Peek: 2023 Honda HR-V

By: Driving.com

The Japanese firm Honda has published a series of sketches of the American version of the HR-V, the SUV that is marketed globally and presented its new generation the previous year.

Beyond publicizing the new generation in 2021 worldwide, the subsidiary of Honda from the United States shows us what it intends to look like for the HR-V.

With two sketches made on snow scenery, the SUV previews its appearance with a sporty and aggressive look.

Rounded lines with a fishmouth grille and stylized headlights add character to the front of the Honda HR-V.

As long as it adds two dark bumper air intakes with their grille in the center, they close a modern set.

Its sides show well-defined lines with some wheel arches as highlighted and wide tires.

Regarding the rear area, the generous optical groups scattered around the tailgate with a fluid line of LEDs stand out. Below the bumper there is a black appliqué that matches the rear spoiler.

At the moment there is no information on the mechanical system. Although in the Old Continent it will use hybrid propulsion, in the United States it will continue with conventional engines. One possibility is the arrival of the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine with 160 horsepower or a 1.8-liter turbo with 160 CV used in the Civic.

The truth is that for all these conjectures we will have to wait for the right moment to know more details of the new Honda HR-V.
