The singer Mariah Carey wants to repeat the publishing success he achieved a year and a half ago with his biography “The meaning of Mariah Carey” and that is why she has not been slow to turn to the co-author of this work, the professional writer Michaela Angela Davis, so that he can express all his talent for the future publication of his first children’s book.
The novel already has a title, “The Christmas princess”, and the story is clearly inspired by the American diva’s Christmas classic, “All I want for Christmas is you”. However, the singer assured on her Instagram account that, In fact, what he has tried is to take the most dramatic chapters of his personal career, originating in a good part of his childhood, to transform them into a “fairy tale” for the little ones.
The artist’s second book also includes illustrations by Fuji Takashi and will hit bookstores this fall through from the publisher Henry Bolt Books. The cover features a “miniature” version of the music star who, in Mariah’s own words, represents her inner child.
On the other hand, Mariah did not want to speak on this occasion about her plans to make a television adaptation of her aforementioned memoir, a project for which she will work together with the director Lee Daniels and could become an eight-episode miniseries.
