This Wednesday, Oribe Peralta announced his retirement from professional soccer through an emotional farewell video. One of the best strikers in the recent history of Mexico said goodbye, and the reactions of his former teammates have not been long in appearing. One of them was Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, who dedicated some heartfelt words to show his respects to the “Beautiful ”.
“A true example of resilience and total professionalism that you provided throughout your race, bro. Without a doubt, it was a real pride and pleasure to be able to share the court with you and there is nothing left to do but thank you for all the joy you gave us. Success in everything that comes BEAUTIFUL Peralta! “Hernández wrote in an Instagram post, which he accompanied with an image of both with joy during a team training Mexican.
Peacock and Peralta coincided numerous times with El Tri. They highlight the two times in which they represented Mexico in the most important soccer event: the World Cup. In consecutive editions (Brazil 2014, Russia 2012) the Historic strikers were part of the Mexican squad.
The “Handsome” scored 36 goals with the Mexican shirt, and secured his place in history after winning the medal for gold at the London Olympics 2012. In addition, he never played outside of Mexico, which made his mark in the country even greater.
This was the farewell from one historic to another.
