In the last seven days, both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the USDA have reported the withdrawal of various food products from the market. The causes range from undeclared allergens, to possible contamination with Listeria and E. coli.
Among the recalls there are chocolates, beef sticks, salads, ground meat, as well as chicken pizza. People who have any of these products in the refrigerator or freezer are advised not to consume them. Products subject to recall must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
one. Beef sticks
Abbyland Foods recalls approximately 14,976 pounds beef sticks smoked products from Iowa Smokehouse because the product contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the label.
The meat sticks were produced between 15 and the 17 November 2022. They bear the establishment number 976B on the package below the date of expiration. The suggested sale dates are before 15//2022 Y 17//2022. These items were shipped to retail stores nationwide.
two. Mini Delizza cream puffs and Taste of Inspirations
Due to the possible presence of small metal shards, Poppies International is expanding its recall of mini cream puffs, in addition to Delizza products, it is also recalling the Taste of Inspirations brand.
Product included at retirement it was available for sale from 11 to 23 from December to 2021, with best before date 08/06/23. I know manufactured from December 7 to 10 2021; UPC: 7 99597 99597 9; and lot number: L2I5021.
Delizza product lot codes are: L1J5021, L1K5021, L2N5021, L2O5021, L32E5021 and L32F5021.
3. Dole Salads
Dole Fresh Vegetables recalled all Dole brand and private label packaged salads processed at its Springfield, Ohio and Soledad facilities , California that contain iceberg lettuce, due to a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes.

Products subject to the Springfield voluntary recall are identified by a batch code that begins with the letter “W” and a suggested consumption date between 22 December 2021 and January 9 2022.
Products subject to Soledad’s voluntary recall are identified with a code lot number beginning with the letter “B” and a suggested use-by date between 23 from December to 2021 and January 8, 2022. Product lot codes are located in the upper right corner.
4. Ground Beef
Interstate Meat recalled approximately 28,356 pounds of ground beef products after finding E. coli in one of the packets. The recall included Kroger brand ground beef sold at Fred Meyer and QFC supermarkets, as well as other brands sold at Walmart, Albertsons and WinCo.
Ground beef products subject to recall bear the establishment number “EST. 965” within the USDA mark of inspection or printed next to the expiration date of consumption or freezing of 1//2022. Items were produced on 20 December 2021.
These items were shipped to retail stores in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming .
5. Kettle River Alfredo Chicken Pizza
Kettle River Products recalled approximately 1,356 pounds of Frozen Chicken Alfredo Pizza because the product contains wheat, a known allergen that is not declared on the label. These items were shipped to retail stores and restaurants in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The pizzas of 12 inches from 25 ounces have the lot codes 21343, 21349, 21362 or 22011 stamped on the bottom of the product packaging. Items were produced on various dates between December 9, 2021 and January 3, 2022. Carry the establishment number “P-04203” within the USDA mark of inspection .
