Florida man jailed for shooting and killing real estate agent after being evicted from home

A former Florida tenant was charged with the premeditated murder of a British real estate agent , while parked in front of the house where the assailant had reportedly been evicted.

Raymond Reese, 51, was arrested in Boca Raton , just north of the palm tree lined street in Coral Springs, where allegedly shot Sara Michelle Trost, of 40 years, several times the 23 December around noon, while she was sat behind the wheel of his Jeep getting ready to show the house on the 5700 block of Northwest 40 th Court to another tenant.

Reese was charged with first degree murder, according to the sheriff’s department and booked into the Broward County Jail on Friday.

The police did not reveal what was the motive for the murder, but the neighbors say that Reese lived in the house and was upset, because they forced him to leave.

They think she mistakenly thought Trost was the owner of the house.

“There was a disgruntled tenant who was evicted. She was sitting in her car, ”Donna Smith, who lives in the area, told WPLG Local 10.

Trost, who orphaned a young daughter, was originally from Southend, Essex, England and openly preached against the armed violence in the United States on his social networks.

He recently posted an anti-gun message on Facebook.

She also volunteered at the local animal rescue center.
