The boxing world is mourning the tragic death of Danny Kelly Jr . The 30 year old fighter was killed on a Maryland, United States . The incident occurred on Christmas Eve and his own family had to witness the boxer being shot.

Reports indicate that the boxer was traveling by car with his wife and three children . The family was heading to a Christmas Eve event, but they were intercepted by another vehicle that would have started shooting . Kelly Jr. would have been hit by one of these bullets which left him unconscious in the driver’s seat. Although he arrived at the hospital alive, the boxer did not resist.

“Patrol officers were called to the 4400 block of St. Barnabas Road (… ) Kelly was found to be unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a pickup truck and suffered gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead a short time later in a hospital, “says the police statement.

The local authorities consider this act as a “crime of rage” . After this terrible event, the police asked for any kind of information, because St. Barnabas Road is a very busy road and some person may have more evidence.

Finally, the authorities have offered an r ecompensation of $ 12, 000 for those who collaborate with information that helps to find those responsible for this murder.

Danny Kelly Jr. got on for the last time to the ring in 2019 against Nick Kisner. During his professional career, the American fighter left a record of 10 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses.
