The Mexican Government announced this Tuesday that it will allow the disembarkation of cruise ships with passengers infected with COVID – 19 , amid growing restrictions in other countries and opposition from local administrations.
The Government promised to attend to travelers with COVID – 19 and comply with the international health regulations of the World Health Organization (WHO), according to a joint statement from the Ministry of Health (SSa) and Tourism (Sectur).
“In case people traveling on cruise ships show symptoms of covid disease – 19 or a positive test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, they will be provided with the required medical attention “, stated the agencies.
