The biggest wins were those of Fulham-Ipswich which ended 10 – 1 in favor of the Fulham team. Blackburn defeated West Ham 8-2 and Liverpool defeated Stoke City 6-1.
Chelsea lost 1-5 to Blackpool and Manchester United fell 1 -6 against Burnley. On the date there were three draws: Tottenham and West Brom drew 4-4, while Nottingham Forest-Sheffield United and Wolves-Aston Villa drew 3-3.
