The reward for finding the 3-year-old girl who disappeared in San Antonio increases to $ 150,000

HOUSTON – The disappearance of a 3-year-old girl since Monday afternoon in the San Antonio area has shocked the community and Efforts to find her have multiplied to the extent that the reward for finding the little girl Lina Sardar Khil was doubled to $ 100, 000.

The little girl disappeared while playing near an apartment complex. The mother was careless for a brief moment and the girl was no longer where she left her.

The search around the apartment complex where the girl lived with her family intensified.

The Islamic Center of San Antonio announced this Wednesday that it was offering a reward of up to $ 10, 000 for information to help locate the little girl, but a day later the Crime Stoppers Unit offered a guaranteed reward of $ 50, 000 for information that helps to locate the child under 3 years. Then the Islamic Center increased the amount to $ 100, 000. The total for now is $ 150, 000.

The minor was last seen at around 5 pm on Monday in the playground of the Villas del Cabo complex, 2 located northwest of the city in 9400 Fredericksburg Road.

According to the San Antonio police, the mother momentarily entered the her apartment and left the girl in the playground, where other minors and adults were. When the mother returned, her daughter was gone.

The apartment complex is fenced and has an access gate, so the authorities took on the task of searching each home, talking with residents, and checking the vehicles of all people coming and going in an effort to find clues to the girl’s whereabouts.

Investigators, with the help of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other law enforcement agencies, have also been searching garbage dumps and surrounding areas for the family’s department. In addition, the police helicopter was deployed to scan the area from above.

The authorities indicated that the possibility that the little girl has been kidnapped and could be in serious danger is not ruled out. An Amber Alert remains active on the disappearance of the girl.

William McManus, chief of police, said that the minor’s family was shocked by what happened. They speak a rare Arabic dialect, which made communication difficult at the beginning of the investigation. However, the girl’s parents were cooperating thanks to the help of an FBI translator.

Khil is described as a little girl with brown eyes, brown hair, tall 4 feet, and 55 pounds. She was wearing a black jacket, red dress, black shoes and had her hair in a ponytail at the time of her disappearance.
