The Olimpia , led by the Argentine coach Pedro Troglio , was crowned this Thursday four-time champion of Honduran soccer by winning 1-0 (aggregate 3- 0) against Real España in the second leg of the final of the Apertura tournament.
The “Lions” of Olympia raised the cup number 34 since the League of the Central American country was founded in 1965, and the fourth for Troglio with the Honduran club.
Pressed by his local condition and the need to win at least 3-0 to be champion for the thirteenth time, Real Spain went out in search of victory and exercised relative dominance over Olimpia in the first minutes , but without clarity to define in front of the goal of the rival.
In the first half, the Olympians seemed determined to defend the 2-0 lead they obtained in the first leg , last Sunday in Tegucigalpa.
Directed by the Mexican Raúl “Potro” Gutiérrez , Real España attacked with the Argentine Ramiro Rocca and the Mexican Omar Rosas , but with a lot of imprecision, and even despair of several of its players.
In the second half, Olimpia prowled the Real Spain area and per minute 60 took advantage of a defensive oversight and began to win with a goal from Jerry Bengtson.

“ This is a great achievement with the largest (team) in Central America ”, Said Troglio, through tears, dedicating the triumph to his family.
Real España and Olimpia are considered two of the “big four” of Honduran soccer along with Marathón and Motagua .
