With great fanfare the Eagles of America presented a great signing for what will be the Closing Tournament 2021: the versatile Jonathan Dos Santos joined the cream blue nest to seek to win another important title.
The player of 31 years, formed in the basic forces or quarry of the Spanish FC Barcelona, comes from playing with the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS (2017 – 2019) where he played 66 matches, distributed 7 assists and scored another 7 goals. Before that he played for Villarreal (2014 – 2017).
His first impression upon arriving at the nest of America was how modern it is. He confessed that the last time he was in those facilities he was very young together with his late father Geraldo Francisco dos Santos “Zizinho”, who also practiced soccer.
“From the cradle I dreamed of one day playing in America (…) the fact of being here means that the Saints have made history ”, said the midfielder.
