Viral video: high-speed crash and furious foot chase in road rage incident

A motorist chased another driver while wielding a part of his crashed car as a weapon, in an alarming attack of road rage captured on video.

Both men were seen in pursuit along the side of a highway, after one of them appeared to deliberately ram the other in Auckland, New Zealand , on Monday.

The furious pursuit continues on the road Access in Auckland, New Zealand.

After a dangerous game of dodging at high speed, a driver was forced to run to evade an attack on foot.

Pictures show a man dressed in an orange vest furiously waving a part of his damaged car over his head like a club.

The other man with a white T-shirt quickly descends an access route to escape, while his pursuer yells: “I’m going to screw you!”

It is not clear if the angry driver caught up with the other man, after the video ends.

The chase was filmed on a phone, while dozens of other users of the road stared in amazement during a traffic jam at the accident scene.

A silver Nissan hatchback with the rear bumper missing, apparently belonging to The man in orange can be seen from the side blocking the access road on the city’s southwest highway.

A Toyota can also be seen target near a security barrier at the same exit.

Occurred after at least two collisions between the two vehicles were captured on dash cam video from another car that I followed him.

The two cars are seen for the first time colliding, while traveling side by side at high speed.

Then, Nissan is seen swerving, apparently colliding with the Toyota on purpose, before veering the other way after impact.

The video of the incident was shared online by the user of Twitter @ yalemiki 275, who wrote: “I can’t believe this all played out in front of me.”

In a statement, police told the New Zealand Herald: “Police witnessed an incident on the Southwest Highway yesterday afternoon. which involved a collision between two vehicles, however, when we attended, there was only one vehicle left at the scene that was blocking the Puhinui highway exit ramp.

“Both drivers had also left the scene. The vehicle blocking the exit ramp was removed.

“Subsequently, the police learned of these images and we are doing more investigations to establish all the circumstances surrounding this incident.

“We have spoken with one of the drivers and we have also spoken with witnesses. Our investigations are ongoing in relation to the driver of the second vehicle. ”
