Narco gang kills man, cuts off his body and leaves the pieces hanging from a Christmas tree as decorations

Members of a narco gang killed a man and left parts of his body hanging from a Christmas tree as a warning, after sold drugs for a rival cartel in a town near the border with Mexico.

Three men and a woman were arrested in Juárez, Texas , on Monday for the brutal murder of the unidentified man.

The victim, a man of about 20 years , he was dismembered and most of his remains were left on the sidewalk in plastic bags under a miniature Christmas tree .

Other parts of her body were placed on the tree as if they were Christmas decorations.

The four people arrested are known members of a criminal gang that the police did not mention.

The suspects arrested were identified as Misael GQ, 33 years; Brisa Lizbeth GR, 22; Emanuel CP, 28 and Edwin GB , 32 .

They had previously been arrested for crimes related to drugs, migrant smuggling and assault .

The group was found carrying bloody knives and a machete in a backpack when they were arrested.

The suspects reportedly told police they targeted the man for selling drugs in his southeastern Juárez neighborhood, which is only 16 miles from the border with Mexico.

Police Chief César Omar Muñoz said there have been several drug-related murders this year.

He reported that the murders were related to a gang called Aztecas and another that he did not identify.

Sinaloa and La Lí nea, both founded in Mexico, are the main drug cartels operating in Juárez, reported the KRQE chain.

Homicides in the city have reportedly skyrocketed in the last three years, as these cartels have started paying their gangs associated with drugs instead of cash.
