It is worth mentioning that this death comes in the context of the recent announcement of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from the United States, which reported that Omicron became the dominant variant of the coronavirus and that it represents the 73% of cases in the country .
Even, it is estimated that the new variant is responsible for the 90% of new infections in the New York region.
