Mexico present in Costa Rica: three Mexican footballers were crowned champions with Herediano
The Herediano was crowned the new champion of Costa Rica this Sunday after beating 3-2 (4-2 overall) to Saprissa in the first leg of the final of the Apertura Tournament.
Los heredianos, by coach Jeaustin Campos , they added their title number 29 on the centenary of its foundation and after 1 year and 11 months from who won his last national final. With this they snatched the two-time championship from the Saprissites.
The Saprissa, of the Spanish coach Iñaki Alonso, complicated the game from very early with the expulsion to the minute 18 by defender Walter Cortés.
