Massive brawl broke out at Miami airport, two suspects are arrested

A big fight broke out on Monday night at Miami International Airport, in Florida, due to the supposed delay of a flight to the Dominican Republic.

According to reports, a passenger became upset after being told his flight was delayed and took control of a cart used by airport personnel, while demanding to be informed of the reasons for the delay.

A video that circulates on social networks and that has been shared on YouTube appears to show the start of the fight, with an officer approaching a man before the altercation escalated into a physical assault.

Two people were arrested because of the disturbance that occurred in an airport terminal and in which, as reported by local media this Tuesday, an officer was attacked gone and was forced to draw a gun and point it at the crowd.

Mayfrer Gregorio Serranopaca and Alberto Yañez Suárez remain detained today after the events that occurred that night Monday in Terminal H of the South Florida airport, and that began when the first, of 30 years, he refused to abandon a cart used by aerodrome personnel.

Serranopaca had apparently expressed complaints related to a flight to destination. to the Dominican Republic and when the officers tried to calm him down, he refused to leave the small vehicle, whose key he had broken earlier.

The resistance by the “unruly passenger” led to a struggle with the agents that escalated to a brawl, as reported by NBC channel 6.

Video images published by var ios media show a crowd pushing an agent who was holding a person, to which he is forced to drop it, to then take up what appears to be a weapon and point it towards the people who surrounded him, while calling for reinforcements by radio.

Although there were no serious injuries, the firefighters had to attend to an agent who had been bitten by Serranopaca , a resident of Kissimmee (Florida), while Yañez Suárez, of Odessa (Texas), was arrested for struggling with the officers who wanted to arrest the “passenger revoltoso. ”

Both were arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting an officer with violence and inciting a revolt, among others.

Airport authorities indicated that, as in other aerodromes in the country this year, is being reg istraining high passenger numbers this holiday season, which is going hand in hand with “a nationwide record increase in misbehavior” , as in the incident that occurred in Miami.
