Los Angeles Metro will offer free service on Christmas and New Years nights to travel on trains and buses so that city residents can get around safely.
Users will be able to use for free service from 9 pm to 2 am on 24 December and 31 December .
During these hours, Fare doors at stations will open and fare boxes and validators will not deduct fares when users use their TAP cards.
Metro will also offer, between the 24 December and January 2, 2022, free rides in the Bike Share program .
Users will be able to redeem a vi free ride of 30 minutes when selecting “1-ride” at any kiosk from Metro Bike Share online or in the Metro Bike Share app.
There will be free trips available per day with the promotion code 010122 .
Still need a credit card or debit, and each trip of more than 30 minutes will cost $ 1. 75 dollars for each 30 additional minutes .
On Christmas Day and January 1, 2022, Metro will operate with a Sunday or holiday service schedule .
It was reported that on January 1, will add capacity on Line L (Gold) for those residents who attend the Tournament of Roses or to the Rose Bo Game wl .
Metro will also have transportation service on January 1 from the Sierra Madre Villa station to the post-parade observation area, between the 11 am and 5 pm .
On January 2, there will be transportation service from the station to the Post-parade viewing area at Victory Park, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. .
