Eight drug traffickers of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG ) were linked to prosecution for various crimes and two of them were singled out for their alleged participation in the kidnapping of two elements of the Navy last November, after a federal operation in Guadalajara against leaders of the criminal organization.
The Attorney General’s Office República (FGR) reported that Alma “N” and Alejandro “N” will face a process for their probable responsibility in the crimes of kidnapping, against health and for possession of exclusive weapons of the Army.

The two defendants were detained by elements of the National Guard (GN) during a search of a building in the neighborhood La Calma, from Zapopan, for which they had the support of the Army and the Navy.
“In this action, a kidnapping victim was freed and doses of methamphetamine, marijuana, a long firearm, chargers, cartridges, homemade explosive devices, telephone equipment and communication radios, “he said in a statement.
Two elements of the Navy were kidnapped on 16 last November after Rosalinda González, wife of Nemesio Oceguera, alias el Mencho and leader of the CJNG , accused of the crime of money laundering.

According to the investigations, elements of the National Guard saw several armed individuals leave a building in the Colonia Jardines Alcalde, in Guadalajara, on December 2.
