Prosecutor's Office in Mexico prosecutes eight members of the CJNG for kidnapping sailors

A federal judge linked the process to eight alleged members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) that allegedly kidnapped elements of the Secretary of the Navy in Zapopan, Jalisco.
Said “uprising”, the past 15 November, caused national controversy because it coincided with the arrest of Rosalinda González, wife of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”, leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG).
At that time, Everything pointed out that the kidnapping was related to the arrest of González, and would have been orchestrated by Laisha Michelle Oseguera González, daughter of “El Mencho” , and her sentimental partner Christian Fernando Gutiérrez.
For him 20 of November, Mexican authorities found the two agents, handcuffed and gagged two, but alive , on a property in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. However, the investigations and raids continued, leading to the capture of several criminals related to the case.
One month after the events, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported that six of the eight detainees were linked to crimes against health and the possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy and Air Force , while two others were also accused of kidnapping and possession of drugs.
“Laura” M “, Manuel” V “, José” H ”, Juan“ R ”, Brandon“ F ”and Francisco“ M ”, were linked to the process by a Control Judge assigned to the Federal Criminal Justice Center in Jalisco.
Thus, the eight accused were detained in the intense operations launched by the National Guard and the National Defense (Sedena) and Navy (Semar) secretariats.
It fits note that “ El Mencho” is one of the most wanted criminals in Mexico and the United States , leads the cartel greater growth, expansion and, according to analysts, one of the most violent in the country.
The CJNG has already orchestrated other attacks against Mexican authorities, such as the attack in June of 2020 against Omar García Harfuch, Chief of the Police of Mexico City.
In addition, at the beginning of December, authorities in the United States announced a reward of $ 5, 000, 12 of dollars by Juan Carlos Valencia González, stepson of “El Mencho”, identified as an active member of the criminal group.
