The authorities of Guatemala seized more than a ton of cocaine in a jet found on Wednesday in the North of the Central American country, as reported this Thursday by the Public Ministry (MP, Prosecutor’s Office).
Cocaine, valued at $ 14, 000, 000 of dollars, was in 34 packages found in two vehicles near the aircraft, as specified by the Public Ministry through its communication channels.

The aircraft had been located this Wednesday in a remote area of the Arroyo de Santa Amelia community, in the municipality from Sayaxché in the department of Petén, 500 kilometers north of Guatemala City.
