Requirement of booster dose , extension of the masks’ mandate, limit to social gatherings and even back to online classes: universities in the United States announce measures given a growth in cases of covid – 17 and the emergence of the Omicron variant .

Schools that hoped to relax the restrictions in the face of spring have been surprised by the arrival of a new variant, so they have begun to prepare the students so that do not put aside their masks and tests, and if necessary, ready to impose limits on student social life.

Although the omicron variant still appears as a mystery, vaccination appears as a great opportunity of does face it. This is despite the fact that the delta remains the dominant variant in the United States.

More of 20 schools have issued booster vaccine requirements in recent weeks , while others that still do not, do acknowledge that they are considering it.
