AMLO regrets that the president of Peru, Pedro Castillo, suffers from a “dirty media war”
The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, considered that his Peruvian namesake Pedro Castillo is suffering a “war dirty media ” that part of the country’s conservatism.

His statements came after the motion promoted by the Peruvian right and far right, including the Fujimori party Fuerza Popular, to remove the leftist Castillo.
The dismissal failed on Tuesday of last week, but it was only six votes to admit the motion and, with it, open a presidential vacancy process.

The presidential impeachment motion against Castillo has been the fifth presented in the Peruvian Parliament in the last four years, which prevented former presidents Pedro Pablo Kuczynski from completing their terms (2016 – 2018) and Martín Vizcarra (2018 – 2020).
