More of 50, 000 will be distributed this Thursday by Northgate González Market for disadvantaged children who live in communities near their stores in Southern California.
It will be the occasion 26 in which the family-owned Latin-themed supermarket chain complies with this raffle, which has already become all a tradition.
Santa Claus will deliver the toys to all the children who attend the event, with the invaluable help of Northgate González Market associates, who will be dressed as Christmas elves to distribute gifts as families arrive.
children will be able to attend this Thursday 16 December, from 1 pm to 4 pm, at Northgate González Market at 11660 E. Firestone Boulevard, in Norwalk , in Los Angeles County.
Corporate executives of the supermarket chain will attend, as well as members of the González family, local officials elected and members of the Chamber of Commerce.
The Annual toy raffle is a way in which the González family gives back to the community during the Christmas holidays .
Each year, the chain partners with local community organizations and elected officials to provide food and turkey coupons to families living with food insecurity, as well as donations to non-profit organizations throughout the year.
