Francesco Spagnesi , the Italian priest arrested for having stolen money from his parish to traffic drugs and organize orgies was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months in prison, after he accepted a plea agreement with the authorities.
The court of the Italian city of Prato accepted the agreement with Spagnesi, who was accused of attempted serious injuries, drug dealing, embezzlement and failure to notify his partners that he is a carrier of sexually transmitted diseases.

For their part , Spagnesi’s partner, Alessio Regina, accepted a 3-year and 2-month agreement , after facing charges of possess, distribute and sell drugs.
Spagnesi and Regina were arrested for buy cocaine and GBL (known as the “rape drug”) with the money they obtained from alms, and then use those narcotics in orgies in which they participated until . the parish was calculated in $ 118, 000 dollars, money that they said they used to help people in need.
The suspicions against the religious began when he began to refuse to lead baptisms, first communions, confirmations and weddings.
