Colombian soap opera actress Raquel Ércole dies at 81

Ércole was married to Lizardo Díaz, a musician who was part of the folk duet “Los Tolimenses”, with whom she had three children, one of them the also dancer and actress Patricia Ércole.
The actress had retired from television in 2003 but returned seven years later to play the character of Teresa San Miguel in the soap opera “Secretos de familia”, on Caracol TV.
In August 2018, Ércole was decorated by the Colombian House of Representatives with the Grand Cross order of Ibero-American social communication.
