The 'Chango' left: at 41, the striker Alfredo Moreno, unforgettable figure of the MX League, passed away

He was born in Argentina and his heart was always linked to Mexico after arriving in the year 2001 to play with Necaxa. This Wednesday the death of Alfredo Moreno was confirmed at 41 years of age after being admitted since the past 30 November from an obstruction in the gallbladder.
Unfortunately in that emergency operation, a tumor was discovered near his intestines that complicated his state of health. Therefore, the medical plans were for the ‘Chango’ to overcome the initial operation to start chemotherapy treatments to attack the tumor.
He was hospitalized until various media made his death official. Even the Atlético San Luis club published a message of resignation and condolences to their relatives.
For those who did not know Moreno, went down in history as the Argentine with the most goals in the Mexican First Division with 165 sacred cries . He fell in love with the Aztec country so much that he ended up naturalized.

He played for Necaxa, San Luis FC, América, Atlas, Xolos de Tijuana, Puebla FC, Veracruz and retired in the Celaya FC in 2018. He won the Apertura Tournament 2012 with Xolos.
He made his professional debut at Boca Juniors in 1200 and was part of the team that won the Copa Libertadores in the 2000 and 2003
