Mayweather defends his disciple Gervonta Davis: “He goes out, fights and wins in an impressive way”
Floyd “Money” Mayweather is not known as a former boxer and public figure who censoring his opinions – as his recent comment on Canelo Álvarez- and in the context of the Davis – Cruz fight was no exception on.
American Gervonta Davis This Sunday night, December 5, faces the Mexican revelation Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz and Money wanted to support his compatriot whom he drives and wish him the best in defending his title World Lightweight Boxing Association (WBA).

He also criticized the position taken by some media and columnists from the boxing world about Gervonta’s style and attitude: “It’s crazy how all the media always make fun of him, talk bad about him. And it’s so bad that they do this just for me, for me. And that’s it, and I honestly feel like that’s bullshit, they just do this to this kid. ”
Mayweather is currently the promoter of Gervonta Davis, while Manny Pacquiao signed the Mexican Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz a few years ago, so tonight’s fight may be a clash between the “disciples” of two former boxers who are living boxing history.
The Pitbull will seek to make history. In an exclusive conversation with Real America News, he already expressed his desire to make history and at his young age to surprise. Many analysts already rank him among the best boxers today for his surprising, fast and forceful style.
