What the “Rust” assistant director said after Baldwin denied he pulled the trigger

In the midst of the stir caused by the first interview of Alec Baldwin after the fatal accident on the film set of the film “Rust”, the assistant director who handed over the prop gun to the famous, gave his opinion on the emotional talk and supported the statement of the actor about not pulling the trigger.
Lisa Torraco, attorney for assistant director David Halls, shared to ABC News that her client never claimed that Baldwin pulled the trigger that claimed the life of the cinematographer last October: “He told me from day one that he thought it was a mistake” , said the lawyer.
“Until Alec said that it was hard to believe, but Dave has told me from the first day I met him that Alec did not pull that trigger,” added Torraco before the wave of questions on the subject after the ABC chain published the video of his interview with Baldwin.
It was during the reappearance of the famous before the cameras that were able to share his side of the story and respond to the accusations he has faced as a result of the incident, where he highlighted the one in which he stated that: “I did not pull the trigger ”, he asserted. “I would never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger. Never”.

To this day, two members of the Rust team have sued Baldwin and the film’s other producers, including the production and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armory of 24 years responsible for the pistols used during the filming of the film.
