Parents of Michigan gunman Ethan Crumbley charged with involuntary manslaughter and on the run

The parents of the alleged shooter in the Oxford High School, have been charged with involuntary manslaughter , after their son of 15 years allegedly killed four students .

State and federal authorities are pursuing the parents of the accused of shooting at the Michigan school, Ethan Crumbley, after to flee, just hours after a prosecutor announced involuntary manslaughter charges against him and revealed startling details about the murder weapon that was a Christmas present.

Ethan Crumbley, a sophomore at Oxford High School, will be charged with one count of terrorism leading to deaths and four counts of first degree murder.

He also faces seven counts of assault with intent to murder and 12 car gos of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

However, prosecutors are also going to charge the parents of the 14 year old James and Jennifer Crumbley after their alleged uproar.

On Friday, a Michigan prosecutor filed four counts of involuntary manslaughter against each of the parents of the suspect .

Sources said the couple will face charges that will be detailed by the Oakland County Attorney during a press conference today.

“With the right to own a gun comes the responsibility and liability of the owner of a weapon is to secure that weapon and keep it out of the reach of someone who could kill people, “said prosecutor Karen McDonald about the parents.

” We can provide all the training and place metal detectors and try to pinpoint the behaviors. Hundreds that are worrisome in children.

“But at the end of the day, if we don’t hold gun owners responsible for their possession, which most of the people who own guns do and are in favor of them, we all we should be responsible.

“Because if that had been done here, four children would still be alive. A community would not be terrorized and several other children would not be injured. ”

Officers rushed to the school at lunchtime and arrested the suspect in a hallway in minutes.

Ethan put his hands in the air as deputies approached, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said Tuesday night at a news conference.

Oakland County Sheriff Bouchard said the suspect came out of the bathroom armed with a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, fired between 15 and 20 Shots at the south end of the school building and acted alone.

Later, the sheriff told reporters that the parents of the child had been summoned to school before the violence.

Bouchard did not want to discuss the details of the compor treatment that concerned school officials.

“There is nothing he could have faced that would justify senseless and utterly brutal violence on other children ”He said.

A preliminary investigation shows that the weapon he allegedly used was purchased on 26 November by his father.

Students killed in the Oxford High School shooting have been identified as Tate Myre, 16, Hana St. Juliana, 14 and Madisyn Baldwin, 17.

Approximately at 10 Wednesday morning, Justin Shilling, 15 years old, who was in critical after the shooting, he passed away from his injuries.

On Wednesday afternoon, the alleged shooter com appeared in court through a video for his arraignment.

Crumbley, who was sporting a white mask and glasses, was sitting with his hands cuffed in front of him and wearing what appeared to be an anti-suicide vest.

His parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, also attended the arraignment by video.

The alleged gunman only spoke when the judge asked him to state his name and if he understood the charges against him.

During the court hearing, prosecutors revealed that investigators recovered a recorded video of Crumbley the night before where he talked about killing students.

Crumbley was denied bail and will remain behind bars, isolated from others adult inmates.

The youth of 15 years faces life imprisonment if of declared guilty.
