It was Dorsey himself who made official his resignation as CEO of the company to leave this position in the hands of Parag Agrawal, who until recently was the chief technology officer of Twitter.

Who is Parag Agrawal, new CEO of Twitter?
Parag Agrawal is originally from India; He studied Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and has a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University.
A little over a decade ago he came to work on Twitter and on 2017 he was appointed CTO of the company.
