Mother of a student who insulted and hit a teacher on video breaks the silence and tries to explain her daughter's attitude

HOUSTON – The mother of a Texas student, who was caught on video hitting a teacher African American while insulting her with racist words, she broke the silence and spoke about the behavior of her daughter, who is supposedly autistic, bipolar and struggles with depression and anxiety.

The date the incident occurred at Castleberry High School near Forth Worth has not been reported. The video went viral after it was posted on Tik Tok by user Black_natural.

In the images you can see the student walking to the front of the room and when she reaches the desk she grabs a phone while the teacher tries to take it away from her. The student insults her and later hits the teacher who was a substitute on the arm.

After hitting the teacher, the student continues to insult the woman while she was talking to her mother. Among the racist insults, she threatened to hit the teacher if she did not get away from her and told her mother that the teacher was “black”.

The student faces a three-day suspension and other possible penalties.

The young woman’s mother, Brittany Evans told the WFAA newscast that she did not She knew where her daughter learned those offensive words and added that racist words are not spoken in her home.

Evans also shared that he has held more than 10 meetings with district leaders to try to move her daughter to special education classes.

The mother also thanked the teacher for her behavior during the incident and for keeping calm in the face of her daughter’s aggressive attitude.
