HOUSTON – New details were revealed in the case of a man who claimed that the mother of his two children committed suicide during An argument in a Houston apartment this Monday night with a headshot
After an investigation The Police arrested the victim’s boyfriend.
This Wednesday the suspect appeared in court where he was officially filed the murder charges and where it was revealed that the couple’s daughter witnessed the moment her father shot her in the head.
According to the Police, the couple’s two children were in the apartment when the victim died. The boyfriend’s version of a possible suicide did not prevent him from being arrested and jailed.
Suspect Dabreon Banks faces murder charges after being accused by police of having shot the woman woman while the victim’s children were nearby.
Investigators said that the 3-year-old girl was the one who told them that her father had killed her mother.
“Dad shot Mom,” said the girl while making a gesture with her hand similar to a pistol, according to investigators. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office arrested Banks, aged 27, this Monday night after officers were called to an apartment complex located on the 6200 block of East Sam Houston Street.
The victim was identified as Kimberly Hernández, of 24 years .

According to the Sheriff’s Office, officers arrived at the scene this Monday around 11 pm and they found the woman with a gunshot wound lying on the floor.
The victim’s boyfriend, who was identified as Banks, initially told investigators that the woman had shot herself while they were having an argument.
After an investigation Banks was arrested at the scene and incarcerated.
Officials reported that the couple’s children, a 3-year-old girl and a 20 months, they were in the apartment when their mother died.
