Seven supporters of Borussia Dortmund , all of them of German nationality, were arrested this Tuesday in Lisbon for contempt of authority, after an altercation in which two agents were injured, confirmed to Efe the Police of Public Security (PSP).
Two policemen identified an individual by making graffiti on the walls of a building and, upon identifying him, were surprised by another individual who attacked one of the agents .
When they tried to stop him, about fifty supporters of the German team appeared , who began to throw chairs, tables and bottles at the security forces, reports the PSP to Efe.
The PSP intervened with several policemen to put an end to the incident, resulting in two of them injured along with several fans of the German team.
The event that occurred in the central Lisbon area of Bairro Alto began at 23. 40 hours (local time) and ended up with seven detainees aged between 21 and the 29 years that they will have to testify before the judge.
This Wednesday, Sporting and Borussia meet in Lisbon in the fifth matchday of Group C of the Champions League and the winner will have many options to go to the second round.
