Rafa Márquez is undoubtedly one of the greatest exponents of Mexican football . The former Aztec defender left a mark on the FC Barcelona and showed his love to Atlas of Mexico . In this sense, the “Kaiser” had the difficult decision to choose which club to see as champion.

“It is inexplicable, there is a motto that if I’m telling you, I don’t know how to explain it to you. It will be stubborn or that we like to suffer from not seeing our team champion . But this team attracts you, seeing the passion and how people go out of their way for these colors makes you part of the story. Barcelona or Atlas? I prefer the Atlas. If you want to see Barcelona champion, I prefer to see Atlas champion. Athlete to death ”, declared Rafa Márquez in an interview for TUDN .

The “Foxes” have had a good role in of this tournament. The team led by Diego Cocca will have a difficult game against Rayados de Monterrey , club who comes from eliminating Cruz Azul in the playoffs and is inspired for the decisive phase of the tournament.

However, Rafa Márquez does not lose faith . The former FC Barcelona defender trusts that Atlas can impose conditions and be able to transcend the quarterfinals . Undoubtedly they will be two very complicated games, but the “Kaiser” does not stop dreaming.

All the great achievements of mankind, someone dreamed of them . I invite the fans of Atlas to dream big and believe in their team because that magic between the fans, management and players is the triangle that generates great things. We want Atlas to have a winning sense ”, said Márquez.
