A group of América fans approached the Azteca Stadium to get some autographs from the players who were leaving training, but they were rejected, for which they demanded more humility from the club president on the part of the players.
It has become a tradition that the fans of América meet in the afternoons at the América facilities to ask the soccer players photos and autographs s that come out of the training sessions, however, some do not access the fans, which causes discomfort in the fans.
After the reiteration of the rejections of the players, a group of fans questioned their lack of empathy before the club’s sports president, Santiago Baños, who surprised with the response he gave them.
“You couldn’t tell them to be a little more humble with the fans” comments a woman who addresses the president to the or that he replied: “You know how many times I have told them” and later launched the controversial phrase: “They are becoming unbearable.”
These statements were released a few hours after América played the quarterfinal match of the Apertura 2021 against the Pumas.
