Humanitarian Couple Killed in Fatal Manhattan Beach Car Crash; a Hispanic teacher also passes away

A Southern California couple who dedicated their lives to helping refugees in some high-risk countries around the world, lost their lives in a terrible vehicle crash occurred Tuesday night in Manhattan Beach , south of Los Angeles.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident around 9: 45 pm Tuesday at Sepulveda Boulevard and Marine Avenue, with a balance of three people dead and three injured, including a minor .
Among those killed are Gabriel Stauring and his wife Katie-Jay Scott of Redondo Beach. The humanitarian couple ran a group called iAct that is dedicated to creating solutions to help a refugees .
Ironically and tragically, they have died back in their home, where they are supposed to be safest.
The couple Through its organization, it had an impact in African nations where there have been genocides. And lately they had managed to make organized football their ally to promote humanitarian causes in various countries, so they too were known in the Southern California sports arena.
Katie-Jay had 40 years. Gabriel was in his 80 s.
A Hispanic school teacher, the third victim of the crash in Manhattan Beach
The third person who lost his life in the crash was identified as Christian Mendoza, from 48 years , a respected elementary school teacher in the area.
As for the injured, it was reported that they were taken to local hospitals. One of them was in critical condition, but all three are expected to survive.
