HOUSTON – A young woman of 17 has been accused of having stabbed to death his father this Saturday in the Briar Forest area northwest of Houston, according to the Houston Police .
Police were called to a scene around 2 am for reports of an injured person.
Officials arrived at the facilities of The Abbey at Briar Forest apartments located on Bentworth Street.
Investigators said that when officers arrived at one of the apartments they found a man injured and bleeding from one leg. When trying to help him they realized that he was already dead. According to the Police report, an altercation broke out between daughter and father and escalated to a violent level.
Police said the father bled after he was stabbed in the leg.
The young woman, according to investigators, has cooperated with the investigation and it was reported that she was not arrested.
Investigators said the case appears to be one of self-defense.
