The rock group Maná confirmed this Monday its first four presentations at the Los Angeles Forum .
The Mexican band will perform their songs on 18 and 19 March and 22 and 23 April 2022 on the Inglewood stage .
In a statement, it was reported that the sale of tickets to the general public will start on Friday 19 November at 10 am via Ticketmaster .com.
“No two concerts will be the same. Get ready to see Maná like never before: special guests, unique song lists and a new production that we have prepared especially for these shows at the Forum ”, expressed the members of Maná.
The group stated that the city of Los Angeles is a second home, recalling that it does 30 years were presented at the Hollywood Palace.
“We are excited to return to the stage of the city of Los Angeles and we want our fans to feel the same ”, added the Mexican group.
For the moment, the performances at the Los Angeles Forum are the only presentations Maná has scheduled in the United States at 2022 .
Mana returns to an important scenario in its history
Mana is one of the most successful Mexican rock groups in Los Angeles , from his first Hollywood Palace performance to the Forum presentation at 2019 as part of her Rayando el sol tour.
At the Forum, Maná broke the record of being the first and only group to sell out all tickets for 7 dates as part of a single tour since the reopening of the venue . Previously, the record was held by Kayne West and The Eagles.
“We are proud to announce this historic concert series with Maná, doing what no another band has done in Los Angeles ”, expressed Geni Lincoln, general manager of the Forum.
“This concert series is the culmination of an incredible journey, with an incredible band, and we look forward to welcoming their fans from all over the world for these historic shows ”, added Lincoln.
Maná is made up of Fher Olvera, vocalist, guitarist and main composer; Alex González on drums, Sergio Vall´n on lead guitar and Juan Diego Calleros on bass.
The group debuted in 1990 with his first album, Miss Love, and two years later they released Where will children play> ?, production that sold more than 10 millions of copies worldwide , becoming the best-selling Spanish rock album of all time.
Mana has 133 Certified Gold Albums, 25 Certified Platinum Albums, 4 GRAMMY Awards, 9 Latin GRAMMY Awards, 25 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 15 Premios Lo Nuestro, as well as honors such as the Latin Billboard Award 2018 for Lifetime Achievement and Latin GRAMMY Award 2018 to the Person of the Year, and the Latin Billboard Icon Award 2021.
