The American boxer Floyd Mayweather and the legendary Mexican Julio César Chávez had a humorous exchange of words during the inauguration of the Annual Convention of the World Boxing Council ( WBC).
It all started after the president of the WBC, Mauricio Sulaimán, announced an exhibition fight between both legends, which caused that with the help of a translator both created controversy of the matter.
Although Chávez assured not getting back into a ring after the fight against Héctor Camacho Jr., said that he would leave a little memory of the popular “The Money” if necessary.
“If you dare, of course you do. He said he was not his uncle and I told him I don’t do it yet I’m going to give you a shit “, confessed Chávez.
Faced with Julio César’s offense, Mayweather told him: “ Okay, if you want I’ll fight you with one hand, and in Texas so that there are many Mexicans.”
Sulaimán realized the fact and minutes later he said: “Maybe, maybe it happens. They both understand what a fight is and what an exhibition is. I say yes, they were hesitating but very seriously and they both say it on the occasion of celebration, celebration, admiration. I really liked that moment, it was very nice. ”
