A 3-year-old kidnapped in Sacramento was found safe and sound in the Bay Area

A 3-year-old boy who was abducted Friday in Sacramento was found safe and sound Saturday in the Bay Area .
The authorities had issued an Amber Alert for the kidnapping of 3-year-old Leo Norvell , which concerned residents of Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
It was a second Alert Amber, which aired in the region in a week, after a woman stole a truck with a one-year-old girl in it on Thursday night, in front of a Mexican restaurant in the town of Pittsburg, Contra Costa. .
On Friday afternoon, Sacramento Police responded to an assault call to the Tahoe Park area and found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds .
The suspect was identified as Joshua Yago, from 30 years , who fled the scene in the car of the injured woman and with the victim’s child, Leo Norvell , 3 years old.
The vehicle in which the suspect escaped was reported to be a BMW 2011 gray color with 6NTU registration 367.
Details were given about the man who was also injured when Iago kidnapped the minor.
At approximately 3 am, the California Highway Patrol disabled the Amber Alert after Hayward, Alameda County police officers located the minor and Yago .
“Norvell is safe and in good health. We are coordinating the reunification of Norvell with his family, ”Sacramento police reported.
Allegedly, the injured woman and Yago have previously known each other, but the authorities did not give further details about this alleged relationship .
Yago is in police custody and will be charged with kidnapping and attempted murder .
The police authorities keep the investigation open on this case.
