FBI Captures Suspected Serial Killer Who Assaulted Sex Workers

The FBI reported that it captured a man identified as Perez Reed, a suspected serial killer who is responsible for the deaths of at least six people in Missouri and Kansas .

The arrest occurred last Friday at a train stop between St. Louis and Kansas City.

The man of 12 years is investigated by his alleged participation in several shootings that, according to the authorities, are related to each other, since they found bullet casings of the same caliber from the same caliber pistol 40 Smith & Wesson, in separate shootings in St. Lous City and St. Louis County.

The detainee was carrying the gun that is believed to have fired the shots.

An affidavit binds R eed with the shootings, which began on 12 September in St. Louis County .

Local prosecutors got implicate the detainee in the murder of at least two persons, identified as Damon Irvin, of 35 years; and Rau’Daja Fairrow, from 25 . However, the authorities think that he could be responsible for at least six murders; the other four victims would be Marnay Haynes, Lester Robinson, Pamela Abercrombie and Casey Ross .

Among them would be transsexuals and women engaged in prostitution .

Although he denied being responsible for the crimes, when he was arrested Reed acknowledged that he was in Kansas City when one of them occurred, and admitted that he contacted at least one of the victims by telephone. The operation that ended with the arrest involved at least six government agencies , whom the federal prosecutor thanked Sayler Fleming.
