Relations between United States and El Salvador and their President Nayib Bukele are in a difficult time.

It occurs after Rolando Castro, Minister of Labor , attacked her for an alleged participation in a conspiracy that sought to cause the rupture of the parliamentary group of the party of President Bukele, New Ideas . The relationship between the two countries was strained on May 1, after Congress dismissed the magistrates of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice and the attorney general. The substitutes were immediately appointed and sworn in.
Nayib Bukele also criticizes that the United States allocate aid of $ 300 million dollars to organizations from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, as he says that some groups that receive it in his country are part of the opposition.
