VIDEO: Heavy rains cause floods in Sarajevo

F heavy rains have caused flooding this Friday in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina . Local authorities were forced to suspend classes and have carried out rescue maneuvers by boats because the water levels are high enough to leave the cars submerged.

Internet users they managed to register the furious rush of brown water flooding the streets . In one of them you can see how the river passes under a bridge that is about 3 meters high.

The local authorities, so far, have not reported any injuries or deaths .

In addition to Sarajevo, several floods were recorded in Konjic, a 50 kilometers from the Bosnian capital. Authorities also had to carry out hundreds of rescues in the town due to high water levels. In addition, power outages were recorded in several regions near Sarajevo .

According to Bosnian authorities, heavy rains are expected to prevail in the southeast of the country until Sunday.
The last time flooding occurred in the Balkan country was in 2014 and Bosnia recorded 27 deaths in back then .
